Express Skinny Jeans Review: How they Fit a Real Human

I wandered into Express to find that perfect pair of Fall/Winter jeans. The pair you can grab and wear with your fluffy shearling boots or dress up in sexy stiletto pumps and go out in. The favorite versatile pair. I tried on the Express Selda Skinny Jeans. They came in a classic "rinse" wash and a faded wash that I do not remember.

(Tried and photographed in size 4 short. I am a shortie)

1. Rinse Wash: The stretch did not have much give. I did not feel comfortable bending and squatting. If you like the feeling of wearing jeans... these are it. If comfort is not an issue... these are your pair. However, I loved the wash. It had zero whiskering, no distressing. Very basic and classic and can be worn a million ways. Not comfortable enough for me though.

2. Cute distressed wash but I do not find it very versatile. Much more comfortable than the rinse wash. It has more stretch and give. For $69.99+tax I would wait until these go on sale or use their current instore and online promotions for Buy 1 pair and get the 2nd pair for 50% off and those discount cards they are currently cicrulating in the mail (if you are on their mailing list.) $30 off $75, $50 off $150,etc.

I hope this helped you shoppers out there.

Dear MorccanOil...CC: Alternative Morocan Oil Brands

I want to start off by saying you are overpriced for no good reason. Moroccanoil is just a mix of cheap silicones with a small percent of the real moroccan argan oil.

Your brand is misleading... you charge $42 for a 3.4 oz bottle of silicone and oil fillers with a droplet of the Moroccan Argan Oil. Major rip off! Authentic Argan Oil can be purchased in pure form, with no additives for less than $20!

Ingredients in the overpriced Moroccanoil:

Cyclopentasiloxane,
Dimethicone,
Cyclomethicone,
Butylphenyl,
MethylPropional,
Argania Spinoza Kernal Oil (Aragan Oil),
Linseed (Linum Usitatissimum) Extract,
Fragrance Supplement,
D&C Yellow-11, D&C Red-17,
Coumarin,
Benzyl Benzoate,
Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone

Moroccan Oil has been around for years and used by Moroccan women to fight the sun's damage and frizz. It is made of kernals from the Argan tree fruit.

You can buy 100% pure Argan Oil by Agadir. $18.48 for 4.0 oz!

I am currently using and loving Hollywood Beauty Argan Oil Hair Treatment from Morocco. Found it at Marshalls for $7.99 for 3 fl oz. Smells like gumballs and has transformed my hair from blah and damaged to hair that looks like it was blown out at a salon. It does not feel oily which was my biggest concern. I was so close to cutting a lot of it off so it can feel healthy again but after using it for the first time today, I can leave it as is, no cutting. So happy!

So, MoroccanOil, lower your prices, puh-lease! I love your packaging and was almost suckered in by the glam bottles but my cash has a mind of its own.

Dear Tara Reid...

You never had class but for goodness sake put some clothes on for at least one day in your life... your wedding day! You wore a crop top and a skirt to your wedding? Were you sober Mrs. Reid? I understand it took place in Greece... perhaps you were shooting for a sexy, exotic Grecian look. If so, EPIC FAIL.

Store Score: www.15dollarstore.com

This store is awesome for us budget fashionistas. They have a lot of different brands, many that you would find at Macys like XOXO, Dollhouse, 525 America, Aqua Blues, Miss me and other brands like Romeo Juliet Couture that you would find at SAKS but at over 75%+ over.

Amazing finds:

-Romeo & Juliet Couture Sweater Dress W/Ruffle Edges. Identical to the Derek Lam from a couple seasons ago that was sold out everywhere... I believe it was Derek Lam or Philip Lim! Brain Freeze!

>>the sequin version

-Romeo & Juliet Faux Fur Cardigan Sweater

-Costa Blanca Cardigan

-KERSH Heart Print Cropped Cardigan Sweater

-TYTE Skinny Jeans

Awesome online store for some amazing deals. You will not love everything but if you are a good shopper and know how to dig for a good find, you'll love this store.

Dear Juicy Couture...

Before I begin my rant, let me begin by expressing my love for your idea. I do love the idea of being girly, cute yet comfy. However, over the years your prices have gone up just like the prices of gas. Only difference is your prices are on a steady increase and never drop, unless I find your JUICY goodies at Marshalls and Ross of course.

Your jewelry is too cute but for fake metal, why would anyone pay over $60 and even over $150 for costume jewelry? The color will fade and look ugly after numerous wearings. The same cute ideas are at Forever21.com but the difference in price is a gigantic gap. Do see below.

$68.00 necklace www.nordstrom.com

$129.29 bracelet www.asos.com

$92 bracelet www.revolveclothing.com

Puh-leeaase!

Gimmie some Forever 21 jewelry any day:

$4.80 Locket Necklace

$1.50 Rhinestone Bird Necklace

$1.50 Key Necklace

$!0.80 Rhinestone Necklace

$5.80 Bracelet

$5.80 Regal Crown Necklace

I can go on forever at forever21.com! Tons of super cute trinkets for hella cheap! If you are going to buy costume jewelry, why pay more than $10? I love you Forever 21!

Dear Designers Everywhere... CC: TOMS SHOES

Can someone please design a cute flat shoe that will keep my feet warm? Nothing too flat and ballet-like. A flat with a more girly version of TOMS with perhaps some shearling lining. Bring it on with some cute girly fabrics and colors and voila, you have at least one buyer: moi.

I need a flat to wear with my skinny jeans and all of those ballet flats are just too flat and not edgy enough for my style. I like my straight and skinny jeans destroyed, sometimes cuffed with a solid color top and bold jewelry. Ballet flats do not cut it with my style. The sillouette of ballet flats are too shy and do not balance my outfits.

So far, I like the idea of TOMS and TOMS knockoffs, especially with the black glitter fabric but I cannot put my feet on a fabric insole. Very gross. It is like wearing the same sock everyday, day after day! Gross! I am totally rethinking of buying a look-alike pair of TOMS due to that fact.

TOMS:

TOMS Sparkles... on my SHOP LIST if I cannot find THE ONE:

Come on TOMS, fluff it up! Throw in some shearling on the inside to warm our tootsies up for the winter! As much as I like the idea of UGGS, the boots are just too sloppy to wear everyday (unless your in school or shoveling snow.)

Dear Hollister... CC: American Eagle

I just shopped your sale and I am in love with you. This is my first purchase and definitely not my last. I was on a hunt for shorts for an upcoming vacation and also shorts I can wear to the beach. Score! I scored the softest, sexiest pair of versatile shorts for $15.00 +tax for $15.90... I also bought the navy color. Stle name: BETTYS (or so the tag says)

I walked into American Eagle and was shocked to see their sale starting rack "29.90 and up". Really American Eagle? I can find you at Marshalls and Ross for $8.99-$12.99. On top of that Hollister is sexier so what makes you think I will be your "sale" cotton and khaki shorts for $29.99?

I think I found my go-to store for sexy, wearable shorts for vacations and the beach for fab prices.

Dear eBay...

You removed my listing for an authentic pair of Christian Louboutin white leather peeptoe pumps. You removed them not because your team thought they were not real, but because you simply received an email "report" from a user reporting that they are not authentic. 9 times out of 10 when an eBayer claims your item is no fake, they have never touched, let alone, owned an authentic designer item. So please, cut the bull. Unless you personally review an item, listening to another person who was no the original purchaser is pretty idiotic.

I do appreciae the refund of my $.10 listing fee. Thank you even though it was free to list but the extra photo I added costed me a whopping dime.

You are going down hill, eBay. I started my love affair with you back in the day when bidding wars were going on for Earl Jeans. Aucions for Earls ended at $114 if you were lucky. Now, you are lucky if they sell for $10.00 (brand new.)

Ignorant eBay customer support is also a turn off. Please hire them within the US because 98% they do not understand the site and the policies and their accent is as thick as they come.

eBay, you have gone down the shitter. On to the next one!

Dear Victoria's Secret...

I did love your beautiful models because they were exotic but I stumbled upon your homepage and every single face that greeted me, (7 to be exact), were blonde and just blah. Where are the sexy exotic models? Why are you giving the bland blondes the front row?

A snapshot of the 5 blonde, everage looking models:

Exotic, sun tanned skin, light blue/green eyes, medium dark hair screamed SEXY and Victoria's Secret. These models are cute. Don't get me wrong but it looks like Victoria's Secret borrowed them from Fredericks of Hollywood.

I hit a bra search and was greeted by these:

Lets get back to the real beauties the set your models apart from the rest, Miss Victoria.

Yowza, Etro!

Dear Etro, your designs are pretty cute but the price tag is kind of ugly. This dress is 1 months rent or 2 months rent depending on where you live. It is very matronly. I think I will wear it when I am in my 50's. No thank you Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. I think I shall pass on this. Perhap's, Etro, a deep dramatic V cut in the back would appeal to the younger crowd?

EEEEP!

I think I would rather see these Aztec inspired dresses:

www.bloomingdales.com Aqua Dress $78

Much better!
